I started up Xolox 1.21 on Windows 95 this evening to find all the files that were in my transfer download listing were missing ! I've been using Xolox for about 3 weeks and this had never happened before. I also checked the temp download directory only to find no files were there.

What to do ?

Have you run scandisk recently? Almost sounds like the list of partials became corrupted or lost somehow.

On a side note, XoloX shouldn't have any issues running on Win 95, but Win 95 as a whole is becoming unsupported, esp. if you dont have 95 OSR2.

You could have also gotten a virus. Could have interfeared with you partial downloads list.

I just noticed something quite stupid that the newer versions of XoloX do. The place it keeps all incomplete downloads by default happens to be the windows temp.

In preferences change the directory for incomplete downloads.
This was IMO an extremely stupid thing to have done since files that are in that directory are meant to be deleted.
