Connection Problems

I have Xolox 1.22 build 263 installed on a windows XP box. It never seems to connect - the "Connecting to the Gnutella network..." message stays in the lower levt of the status bar forever.

I do have a firewall (hardware, not software) and I opened up port 6346. That did not fix it. Just for grins, I opened up all port between 6000 and 6500, still no joy.

I downloaded the list of hosts, and still can't connect.

(I rebooted things at every step, including the firewall).

Any clues as to what I am missing?
