Uploads when behind router Hi! None was able to upload files from me because I am behind a simple router in my home. But now I have found out the solution. My router also works as a DHCP server. The model of my little router is Netgear RP114. The trick was to start using portforwarding, just as I have read in this thread. From a command line enter the command "ifconfig" to see what ipaddress you are using. Here is a link on HowTo setup portforwarding with Netgear: http://www.netgear-support.com/ts/do...plications.htm Your computers IP-number should be in the column "Server IP address" and in the both columns "Start Port" and "End Port" type in 6346. |

That kind of stuff can vary fom model to model and manufacturer to manufacturer. Many routers automatically configure themselves, or use a wizard on one of the networked computers to figure itself out. So depending on what router you have can make it alot easier or harder to change those types of settings. |
