Safe download

Can anyone tell me why when I am downloading a movie when it gets to about 50% it goes to safe download and starts again at 1%.

It means that the file you got was mostly garbage. (or at least not lined up properly) Xolox is trying to get the parts it has decided are bad again, but much more carefully. However, this is much slower, so Xolox does not do this by default.
