F*ckin lowercase filenames 1 Attachment(s) Well I got sick of whining about the lowercase filenames but I am also really tired of renaming 15-word mp3 files and capitalizing the *****... ---THIS WILL ONLY WORK FOR WIN2000, NT, and XP----- * Extract the 2 Zip files into somewhere that's in your path. (See followup to this message for file #2). If you dont know what that means, just extract the files to c:\winnt\. *open a DOS prompt and cd to the directory (like cd c:\Porgram Files\Xolox\downloads") you wanna fix, then type fixdir. After that type exit (I know it's lame. Xolox re-indexes the files the instant you rename them , so a contention occurs sometimes.) * Don't change any filenames, fixdir.bat calls fixcase.bat |
