General questions about Xolox...

I am student in communication,
I have to write a paper on P2P sites and I look for informations about Xolox I cannot find :confused:
1- when was xolox first released?
2- is it Open source ? (and how many developers contribute to it ?)
3- the global size of community of users ?
4- where does the name xolox come from ?

Xolox is dead, the developpers left to Morpheus...

XOlox still exists (Xolox BV is still in AMsterdam)
