Searches that are closed continue to run as jobs in the background, wasting resources and bandwidth for no apparent reason. When a search is closed Xolox should remove it from the jobs list. Right now the searches continue even into the next session and beyond, very annoying.

I'm using v1.11.

Could it be that you still downloading some files?
(see the tranfer panel).

Nope, no files still downloaded. The transfer list is empty, but Xolox still wants to run searches that are closed from previous sessions.

I experience the same thing, even after closing XoloX for several hours and when I reopen it with no continued downloads pending, I get the "searching for ..." These are searches I did the day before ?

Look in your resumeinfo.txt file, are there entries there that shouldn't be? Did you crash at any point before this started happening? What OS are you using? System specs?
