![]() After successful downloading of some videos, I get an error message when I try to launch the file. It says, "Couldn't open the file ____, because the file name was bad". What's the deal?? |

![]() I've seen this problem before. The file name is too long. Depending upon your OS, the name can only be so many characters long for it to be read by the OS and other programs. Try renaming the file something shorter. :-) |

![]() Another possability is that they have foreign/extended characters in the name that Windows doesn't recognize properly. Example: Open a DOS box and rename file.avi to file ALT-252 .avi (Should look like filen.avi with the N superscript, but in windows look like an underscore.) |
