Question Private network
If i startup XoloX on a private network will it work?
or does it only work on "internet"?

You'll need internet access since it needs the Gnutella hosts to connect. Maybe something for a future release.

Yep. If there will be in future releases a possibility to connect to a specific IP/port, it would be possible to share with friends (LAN or internet). Meanwhile you can "only" share on public gnutella network

version 1.12 will let you specify the port.

Specifying a port won't help if you can't specify an IP to conenct to.
