After I close XoloX and reboot, it seems like XoloX or something trying to connect to my computer. The lights on my cable modem are blinking steadily. Do a netstat and I get three or four Time wait connections ?

Starting up XoloX again I get three or four uploads starting up right away.

This is getting somewhat irritating, the little lights in my tray that show my uploading and downloading action are on solid like IM connected and downloading something.

How can I stop these servers from pinging me. They can just wait til I reconnect or find someone else.
There must be away besides unplugging my cable modem.

Please respond ASAP

Could be and seems like other clients had started a download or you where in the hit list so that they try and see if a Gnutella client is running. Not something perse from XoloX.

But if that was the case why dosen't WinMX or Bearshare do this ? When I close these programs I get disconnected like turn off the water tap, no more internet activity showing on my cable modem. (note; why I still have these programs on my system is beon me, haven't used them in almost a month for anything other than people uploading from me), but when they close they close, XoloX is having some probs in that department I think.

Maybe a manual refreash button so the the user can clear his/her search cue and refreash his/her status on-line.
