Arrgh, wont work under Win2K
 

Hi,

I've been using this fantastic program for a couple of weeks, pretty much since it was announced on gnutellanews. Anyway a few days ago I decided to ditch WinME and install Win2K. Im am distraught as Xolox no longer works. As soon as it starts up I get "XoloX: Network connection error. Do you want to re-configure network settings?" I am not berhind a firewall so there are no proxy settings to configure.

Please help! I love this program!

I have been getting this same message but only recently. Xolox usually works fine on Win2K. Maybe it's something to do with the network rather than Xolox. This error does not always occur and sometimes Xolox will connect despite it. Keep trying. May only be temporary anyway.

I use win2k and up until today it has been 100% fine - i just can't connect any more - maybe their servers are down.
