Question what is this 44kHz x:xx 544,xxx

Just curious; no matter what I search on, almost always the list returned includes a file called "44kHz x:xx" (minutes) and the file size is around half a meg? Why is that?

Xolox is great!

Thanks,

Gene

The Seeker is flying high
Default Explination.

The cause of this is that people are upgrading to the latest versions of Gnotella and BearShare, which both send out extra data with MP3 results (bitrate, song length) that XoloX doesn't know how to handle. This makes all but the first hit returned from those hosts worthless, with the second hit having the file name you refer to, and the rest having the first letter missing from the filename and a corrupted file size.

A more in-depth explination and steps to reproduce can be found here.
