Question Xolox eating up my system resources

I have recently downloaded Xolox and at first it looked like a good program. However, when I open it and begin searching, it absolutely eats up my system resources. I receive a warning usually about 1 or 2 minutes after I open it saying my resources are dangerously low. I don't think there is a problem with my computer. Here are my computer specs:

Dell Dimension 8100 1.3Ghz Pentium 4 Processor
128 MB PC600 RDRAM
16x DVD-ROM Drive
20 GB Hard drive

If anyone has had a similar problem or knows anything about this I would appreciate some help.

If not: How many MB of your RAM is free before/after starting Xolox? Which Windows do you use? Do you have the same problem with any other (filesharing) program, e.g. Bearshare, Morpheus etc?

I looked at the link but I couldn't find an answer. I am using Windows ME, downloading with cable modem, also have ZoneAlarm. I have not used Bearshare or any gnutella client before. The programs I use are Morpheus, WinMX, and Audiogalaxy. All of them work very well. I do most of my downloading with Morpheus and Audiogalaxy, and haven't had any problem with either one.

I am unsure how many MB RAM are free before and after. Where do you go to check on that?

The problem is in your firewall, specifically ZoneAlarm. To solve the problem, either exit ZoneAlarm while you are downloading or switch to a different firewall. Sygate personal firewall works allright and you can download it from CNET (download.com). NOTE: if you are using ZoneAlarm and want to uninstall it, visit its website for detailed uninstallation instructions. Don't just use add/remove program. Otherwise, you could crash your computer.
