network connection erroe. re-configure network settings?
 

I downloaded v1.12 and the hostlists. When I start xolox I get the above message. I do not know what to put for my proxy settings. I'm on an ethernet if that helps. Please help me, thanks

I have the same problem on the first run....But after I d/l the hotlist.txt and put itin the xolox directory, it works.....

to solove the problem, you should completely exit the program. That is, press the ignore button and right click the xolox icon on the lower right hand side, select exit. Then place the hotlists.txt in the same directory as where your xolox installed, start xolox again. It should work with no problem then...

that is exactly what I've already done and I still get the network error message.

To give you some background: I guess Xolox asks that always, if it can't reach any other Gnutella nodes, for whatever reason. Check if any other Gnutella client works with you, that would provide a starting point for us to debug your situation.
