Default hall.dll error (blue screen) w2k system ??? anyone? Bueller?

Sup guys...

looks like its a great program, but I too am getting an IRQ Less or equal than, specificially with the HALL.DLL file.

This is win2k, sp2, gobs of room/ram etc...

not sure what hall.dll is used for or if i can find a better version. But it really sucks i cant use this program

it craps out and freezes after about 3-4 mins of the program being loaded.

HAL = Hardware Abstraction Layer. Get the newest version of your video drivers and DirectX. If that doesn't work, try lowering your video accelleration level. (My computer properties -> performance -> graphics? I don't use 2K)

yah Win2k doesnt support hte video accelerator feature like win9x does (or maybe it does, but i just didnt see it)

allready haev latest Directx, and im ont sure about video card drivers, they are an obscure set on my laptop, but win2k picks em up fine.

odd that it could be my video drivers no?

only this program makes my system blue screen as quickly as it does

I get this same problem, only its with the NDIS.SYS file. It gives me a bsod every time it tries to cross the 250 megs or so barrier.

I'm running win2k server. AMD TB 1.4 GHz. 256DDR.
It seems to hang sooner and sooner each time I use it. By the time my file gets to 95% or so, it has become unusable.

It crashes (bsod) exactly at the time that it finds a new active server to resume from. No matter how stripped down the system is running, it just keeps rebooting. It's as if it doesn't like to have large files piled up in the temp directory.

It becomes less and less stable untill it finally refuses to download so much as a byte before crashing exactly as the connection is made. I've tried reinstalling a few times. I don't know what to make of it.

and find files... sometimes im lucky and i can type in a few quick works.. naked ladi...... then it crashes lol

crashes after its just finished counting hte network servers usaully too... i think its timed, never longer than 3 mins, then it just dies.

Im going to upgrade to winxp here once i get off my *** and backup my ****,l so ill see if that helps.
