I tried to shut down in the search mode with no searchs running and I still got an error but I didn't have to reboot but now Xolox is hanging up when ever I bring it up it hangs on the tips

I didn't reinstall to fix Xolox. Try this.
Xolox was freezing on me too. I just deleted the hostslist.txt file and restarted Xolox. Xolox ran fine after that. ????

i've got the same prob and was very happy to find your advice; first i tried deleting just the contents, then the whole folder and neither made any diff. read all my posts. they're all about this prob and all the things i've tried that haven't worked. then send me your ideas, if any. 8) thankewosomuch!! ps: this seems to be a very common prob! 8[
