System freezes

Hi Evryone!
When i Turn Xolox on and go sleeping, and check it next morning the system is freezed up.That means the Monitor has turned off because of Power Managment and i move the Mouse and nothing happens. No downloads have moved on (it seems, i`m not sure of of it) and i dont get a working System.(the monitor dont turn on again) Please tell me your experience. I`ve got an A7V133 with an Amd 1200 maybe its the via-stuff. :(

i used to have the same problem. It's not really a solution, but i just dont constantly run xolox at night, I also noticed that it froze when I was loaded up with downloades, i dont know if this is the same case for you, anyway, let me know if this is not an acceptable answer.

Possible Answer

Turn off all power management features in the control panel. Also Xolox seems to grab huge chunks of system resources periodically, if you don't have enough available it will hang your OS.

Make sure you've got at least 75% system resources available. If not use Ctrl Alt Delete to close down anything running in the background that you aren't using (like CDr software, seti@home, etc). The number of downloads going might affect this I'm not sure.

Finally it doesn't seem to like being left on the downloads screen so before you go to bed change it to the search screen.

Worked for me, good luck.
