Anyone else not getting a lot of search results?
 

I'm a longtime Bearshare user who is trying out Xolox (BTW, the segmented downloading feature is incredible!!!) My only problem so far is that I don't seem to be getting a lot of results for my searches. For comparison, after Bearshare has been running for a while, I did a search for "porn" in the video category (hey, can you think of a more popular search term? ;) ) Anyway, I had over 2000 results returned. But running the same search on Xolox after it had been running for a while only returned about 200 results. And yes, the adult content filter was turned off. Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm not sure if this matters, but I couldn't get Xolox to connect on startup, so I entered the Bearshare host into the hosts connection. Would it help if I added more of these?

This maybe one reason you get fewer search results on Xolox than on Bearshare, It applies to all types of searches with birthrate and ping information.

Yes, I can think of a search term that will bring more results; “.zip” or “.mp3” (the “dot” makes up for the forth character).

maybe it was just timing
 

It also may have just been the timing of my search. I reran the search the next day, and the XoloX results were comparable to my typical BearShare results. Thanks for the info, tho, it's good to know!
