Cant see picture with some videos

I downloaded DBZ movie 12 (.avi) off of xolox and when i play it in media player all i get is the sound, likewise with real player, real says i dont have a div3 compressor or something, does anyone know how i can fix this problem

See if this fixes the .avi problem in media player, it did for me.

LOL I had this trouble also until I downloaded a DIVX codec. I thougt it was due to corupted files. Untill I downloaded a 600mb file one day and was hesitant to delete it. For some reason WINMEDIA player does not automaticly download the Divx codec. But you can download it and use WMP to play it. ODD*

This is because the Divx codec is not produced, endorsed, supported, or probably even liked by Microsoft.
