Too Slow
 

Seems my downloading is kind of slow. Eventhough I increase my upload speed, it's still too slow. Especially with programs and videos. Can suggest anything....

Yeah, i can suggest a couple of things.

First, did you set your speed to "Mac" or "12"?

Second, what connection type do you use to access the net? i.e., cable modem, dsl, or dial up?

Also, think about the people that you are downloading off of, remember that you are downloading off of the entire gnutella network, and you may be downloading from someone with a slow connection.

By the way: What is your definition of "too slow"?

I like XOLOX because I can dowload constantly like large 700mb files. However the fastest constant speed Ive had it download is around 24-34 mega bits per sec. I have a t3 line connected to a network.

The one you are uploading from might have set there Xolox program to slow up-down load!
