Proxy Administrators

If I am using LimeWire behind a proxy server, can the Admin. see the program running and connect it to my machine. The company has eliminated our employees from downloading mp3's from mp3 sites; however, I can still download mp3 with LimeWire. I want to know if they can see LimeWire and the locations that I am hitting.
