![]() You may need to get a current copy of Xolox (Xolox was officially shutdown Dec. 1). Copies of the working Xolox can be obtained at XOLOX fans or at Xolox_girl. With a current copy of Xolox you can download normally, just by double clicking on a file you have searched for and found in the “Search” tab. Xolox is supposed to update the hostlist on its own, but doesn’t always. Because you only connect to 2 Gnutella servers, you may need to add some new hosts. You can find more hosts at www.gnufrog.com to add them click tools, then Preferences, and add them and the ports, in the “Gnutellahost:” line. (public.bearshare.net and port 6436 is also a good host to add) Another option is replacing the “hostslist.txt” you can get another copy of the hostslist.txt and instructions on how to replace it at Older hostslist.txt.
