Default difficulty connecting to network

I just got 1.32 a couple days a go, and for a while, I had awesome connection - very fast downloads. Now I can't even seem to connect at all. I'm running XP and yes, sadly, it's a college network.

Is there someway I can customize the connection somehow?

You can tweak you connection in the preferences under the network tab.

Default connection troubles

I too cannot connect anymore. I have been a happy user until recently. I started getting a constant "Connecting to the Gnutella network..." message that never got to the old "Network OK" part anymore. I thought I needed the new version, so I got it. Still no go. I went on chat and they suggested uninstalling the old and deleting the regkey. I did. Then I installed 1.32 and still I can't connect. OH.......... and I love XoloX, too. What up?

How do I do that, by the way? I downloaded the sample list.

in addition.... you can try following the directions in the howt0-gwebcache.

Basically, try this...
go tools > preferences > network tab > advanced button

in the webcache tab , delete all the caches.
( or just edit cachehosts.txt in the xolox folder)

Then go here www.xolox.nl/test/test.html and import a new list.

This is only a suggestion of something to try.
