Help..how to use partial download?

Hi

I have a 99% completed file in my Xolox "download" file. The selection is complete.

I "moved" it over to my saved Music files however the format is NOT mp3 & I don't know how to change it. Neither is it WAV or anything else I recognize.

Can someone help me convert that into an mp3. I tried using MusicMatch's "convert" utility & no go.

just rename it, save it as 'all file types' and give it the extension .mp3

Thanks for the response. I'm doing something(s) wrong.

I select the file, right click to rename, do so & add ".mp3" to it. However, there it stops.

I cannot find anywhere a place to "save" it as any other type(s) file.

Hoping you can be more specific.
