I've been using Xolox for a few years with very varying re*****:
sometimes the downloads are very quick and searches work perfectly, but on the other hand sometimes nothing seems to work, even if there are over 10 peers and 10 leafs.

The strange thing is that once I start Xolox for the first time (after a reinstall) it will work very good, but only for a while. Eventually sources will drop off and no new sources will be found. They don't go to the 'busy' column, which would be logical, they just disappear and never come back until I finally have to reinstall the whole program to be able to download anything at all. I'm not talking about reinstalling the program after a few hours of bad luck, but more like several days...

It's really annoying to find a file you've been looking for and even to be able to download it a good bit but not to the end e.g. I downloaded today a videoclip from the start with 8 sources and got it up to 80 percent when the sources started to drop out and the "download manager" won't find new ones... Strange because there are over 30 hits when I search for the file, but you can't resume the file manually but have to wait for the manager to find the sources... which it doesnt...

I have tried everything: disabling the firewall, sharing huge amounts of data, different network configs, Ultrapeer/not and nothing makes a difference.

Anyone know what this is all about?? It a shame, because I think Xolox is a nice program and I'd like to keep using it.
