Why .NET? Not that I don't trust the developer of Swapper, but I don't trust M$. It just seems odd to me that the .NET extensions would be required to use Swapper, being that it's a simple Gnut client. What possible benefits can the .NET framework give to a lightweight file-sharing app like Swapper? That being said, I uninstalled Swapper because of this :/ |
The .NET framework is equivalent the JRE that you download to allow Java to run. Over time new MS operating systems will have this built in. The application is written in C# part of the Visual Studio .NET development platform. Great app that shows the power of the new C# language. |
