I am personally unable to help with your query. Go to Word's Help menu and type in mail.
Alternatively save your Word document and send it via an attachment. Or copy-paste into an email.

My Word version is very old and it is not a Windows version, there are differences in regards to mailing. I also have no experience with using Word's mailing tools. For privacy reasons I long ago chose not to use the system's mail app.
