Joe Busuttil has a spectacular aura about
Default Clipboard images

How to print images that have been saved in the clipboard in windows 10?
Am told they have been saved, but where? Cannot find them, neither in the Pictures folder nor the One Drive foldler? Thanks for helping a slowcoach pensioner.

Borrowed answers:

The clipboard isn't a file. Its contents are stored in the computer's memory (RAM.) To use its contents, simply go to the program you want to use it in, click the place where you want it to be put, and press Ctrl-V (paste).

To view clipboard you first need to enable this:
Go to Start menu > Settings app > System > Clipboard

Clipboard images-win10-clipboardsettings.png

If you are looking for a file that you can extract from the clipboard history to attach to an email that is not possible. However, if you are just looking to copy paste from the clipboard history this is possible. Here's how:

1) Press Windows key + V, opens up Clip Board History.
2) Open your email account, compose a message
3) Go back to the Clip Board history and click the items you want to include to your email, it will paste itself on the message compose screen.

When images are saved in the clipboard, how do you shift them for editing in Windows 10?

Thank you in advance for helping me.

I've merged this thread with the previous about this topic which answers your question.

Open any document be it Word or Photoshop, etc. and paste from clipboard. For Photoshop you can paste into an existing document or create a new document based on the clipboard's image dimensions.
