![]() I hope someone can help me. I downloaded a file that was said to be an ISO file. But it has a file extension that is iso.exe. I tried running it like an executable file, but just got a blank ms-dos window and then nothing. the details of the file said to rename it and then burn it to disc like a normal iso file. i have winiso and fireburner but do not know how to use this file with either one. could someone please help me with this. Thank-You very much. |

![]() when you say rename it, do you mean just right click in windows explorer with it highlighted? i tried that and then when i opened nero and went to drag it over it still said name iso.exe. i don't get it. Last edited by RaaF; July 17th, 2002 at 03:48 AM. |

![]() Sometimes these kind of files are viruses. For example, if you see photo.jpg.vbs, the extension that counts is the vbs, and not the jpg. Ivan "In the dark we make a brighter light"
