fast playback
 

My downloads all play back too fast. They all sound like the Chipmunk's greatest hits. I've tried using the Limewire player as well as Windows Media Player. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?

Are u sure it's ALL your music dwnlds? That type of thing can happen if the file's sample/bit rate has been changed but I don't know about mp3's. Oh, I don't know if this is related but I did find this: Bugzilla Bug 852 fast playback on mp3's.

I also remembedr when I used to have SB Live you could change how fast it plays (and how it sounds, like chipmunks) if eany of you have a sound card check the settings

I know that lol :) I didn't mean the onboard one or the ch 16bit one, a good sound card that lets you do many things...these problems acure if you don't know how to configure these alittle bit more pro ones
