A user I was downloading from had a worm virus, and when i confronted the user about it, they immediately went to unavailable status. Beware of the worm virus:


W32.Randex.gen is a generic detection for the W32.Randex family of worms. The Randex family is a family of network-aware worms that is distributed through IRC channels.

Infection Length: variable



Systems Affected: Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP
Systems Not Affected: DOS, Linux, Macintosh, Microsoft IIS, OS/2, UNIX

There is no need to post the IP, the IP changes every time you connect to the internet. btw this is a Gnutella wide problem I move it to the general section.
