OK I finally downloaded the files I need and went to burn them with my hp cd burner onto a cdr. They come up in my playlist, and they say they are mp3s but when I try to burn them it says that they are the wrong format and I can't burn them. This only happens with files from limewire, I had no problems doing this with napster. What can I do?? Thanks

mp3 files off of Napster and mp3 files off of LimeWire should be the same. It must be something else that you are doing differently.

What program are you using to burn the music with? Do they all play in a mp3 player ok?

MusicMatch is one of the easiest to burn music with.

I doubt this will fix your problem, but it might. Right click on your file, and click on "properties". Make sure that the "read only" box is not checked. This has worked with some games that I have downloaded.
