iTunes 4 - Sharing subdirectories Is there a way to enable sharing of subdirectories without having add each subdirectory to the shared list? -------- I use iTunes 4 with the option "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized" turned on. All of my files are in my "iTunes Music" directory. Within that, every artist is stored in a separate subdirectory with further subdirectories for each album. This keeps my music library organized and I love it! I would like to be able to share ALL of my iTunes library without having to add all the subdirectories (each artist, each album) individually. Is there an option to "include all subfolders/directories" somewhere that I might have missed? Thanks in advance to all who reply... Software/System details: LimeWire v 3.8.7 Pro OS: OSX 10.3.2 iTunes v 4.2 |
Hi aerolark The subdirectories are shared automatically. You should see a drop down arrow to show the subdirectories of a parent in the Library view. They might take a while to show the first time you share your entire iTunes folder. cheers |
Stief, Patience is a virtue - everything eventually appeared. Many thanks! |
