stopped play

Play just stopped in the middle of a song running from Playlist. Tried to rewind, etc. Song came up hilited in green and still shows it is loaded in the bottom right hand corner of my window.

Need loads more info from you...

What Operating System (OS) are you using ?
What p2p 'client' are you using ? (i.e. LimeWire or BearShare or...)
What player are you using ? (Or, is it a player bundled with a p2p client ?)

The more info you give in your first question post, the clearer and quicker will be the replies !

My operating system is Windows XP; Using Limewire for downloading and playing from playlist.

OK...

If you browse around these forums ... and do a Search on topics such as LimeWire playlist or player or whatever, you will find many posts from others on the same subject...

As a starter, try playing your music files with Windows Media Player instead of the 'player' that is bundled with LimeWire (or ANY other p2p client's 'player'... It is NOT only a problem with LimeWire's 'player'.)

The 'players' that are included with the various different p2p clients are really only meant for monitoring as opposed to listening...

At the risk of inviting tons of contrary comments here, I would also suggest that you try Musicmatch Jukebox as a player and much, much more...
