This is my fist day on LimeWire.....I wanted to play a CD from my own computer (and ultimately burn a copy for a friend).......is this possible or should I be using MusicMatch or Windows Media for this? Thank you.

Of course it's possible to burn a cd on your computer if you have a cd burner & software. But certainly not by using Limewire. There's many, many, many options out there as far as audio burner apps. Surely your cd burner came with its own software. MusicMatch & apparently some versions of WMP can burn cd's.
