I cant get it to play
 

i made my dvd but now it will not play. to be exact i made a super video cd because it says my files are not able to be writen to a dvd. can some body either ttell me how it can be writen to a dvd or tell me why my super video cd is not working on my dvd player my playstation or my computer dvd player!!!!!

Do you have a PS2? AFAIK it plays SVCD. Its possible that your DVD player don´t support SVCDs. Which format was this video and how did you burn it as a SVCD?

Huh, my PS2 says it plays DVD, DVD-R and CDs. I have a DVD player that says it also plays VCD, so I figure, from the lack of such mention on the PS that it don't play them.

You need a dvd burner to burn a dvd. A cd burner cannot burn dvd's. dvd burners are quite cheap nowadays. But svcd is still quite good! It uses higher resolution than an ordinary vcd & also uses the more advanced mpeg2 technology like dvd's do. vcd's use mpeg1 or other. Don't select to burn dvd if you don't have a dvd burner! :D

My friend has a PS2 and he changed or added something, he can view all types of videos.
