What's a good program for making a music video? I've downloaded some of the homemade music vids and I think they're cool, and I'd like to have a go at doing one. Any suggestions? Is there a noob page somewhere that would walk me through it? Thanks |

The top level apps are avid, premier, & final cut pro (mac), (I use the latter 2.) There's heaps of others that are still very effective & don't cost anywhere as much. All these apps have their own forum by the way. Anyway here's a starting point: http://www.videohelp.com/ And do a google for what you're looking for. (By the way, video editing will require certain codecs depending upon what the target media is.) |

I like that website. *Bows* Thanks Super Moderator. I already have several movies on vcd and scvd. (been ripping just to back up my own collection*wink*) So I have that much of a headstart. I downloaded virtual dub *free ware*, and have started to play around with it. If I become vid obsessed I'll put some money out, but for right now I'm happy learning the basics on the site. Thanks |
