I've NEVER had a problem running any Microsoft OS!

I use a mac

There's allways one...

The thing with a Mac is:
It's expensive and it can only run one type of OS and a lot of software developers are not even bothered to write for Mac.
And why should they ? There's more people using Linux .
I know more people that stopped using a Mac than people that started using one.

With a PC you have a choise.
Not only with what OS you run, but you have much more choise in software and games.

But never mind.... it is not really my intention to rudeley wake you up, sweet macdreams

Get mandrake Linux for Apple Mac.

And then theres Virtual PC from Microsoft that allows you to run Windows (or any x86 os) on top of Windows 2000 pro or Windows XP Pro or Mac OS 9+

Windows forever (Well, until Microsoft dies... and it will happen )

Some good points! I have 4 OS's on my mac (incl. VPC & win2k) I have heaps of games also. Not that I have time to play them. As for Linux, it aparently can be used in VPC but this: http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/ppc.php3 says a little more than that. To my knowledge both mac & linux are developed on unix.
Well I hated those days on dos & cpm & happily walked into unix/xenix environments. And where did windows come from anyway. A cheap copy of an unused/disposed of mac gui from what I read. And the prices of macs have certainly come down (by about 30%) over the past yr or so.

Lol! I can run DOS using vpc. As for BeOS I know nothing. Definition I could find:
BeOS: An operating system developed by Be, Inc. that runs on the PowerPC platform and Intel x86 processors. Despite being smaller than other modern operating systems, such as the Mac OS and Windows, BeOS nevertheless sports a modern graphical user interface (GUI), preemptive multitasking, multithreading, and built-in support for symmetric multiprocessing (SMP).
PowerPC Platform: a computer hardware specification that allows a computer to run multiple operating systems. PPCP was developed jointly by Apple, IBM, and Motorola ... A computer that meets the PPCP standard allows you to select an application without regard to the underlying operating system. A PPCP computer can run any Mac, PC, or UNIX-based operating system without the usual modifications required to fit an operating system to a platform.
