burning problems hi middle earth person! I think the burning problems are with my mac..... I have osX and am using toast titanium. I do all the usual stuff to burn a dvd.....it goes through the first bit fine...takes AGES! then after all that I get a wee warning that says cant copy - osX problem. To be honest though - I'm not too bothered! I'm just watching what I downloaded in the office! haha! ( its at home!) what I originally wanted to do was download a film - put it on to dvd then watch it on the tv - the old fashioned way! but now I realise that i think this is beyond my capabilities! |

Either that or you're living in a (yellow?) submarine. Or are not human... bobadoodle, did you dld the movie at work? If so (and I'm asking any OS X whizz kid out there) is it possible to fiddle with the burner software/drive/whatever so that it won't burn? Anyways, try burning something besides a DVD (a data CD for example onto a CD RW) to see if it works. If it does, try putting the thing in a CD (as data CD) and get it back home, then burn it from there (if you have the necessary equipement, that is; and I'm not talking about lighters and matches ...)

bobadoodle tell us what file format the movie is in (extension name.) This will help to sort out your problem. What's the file size (MB)? Can QuickTime Player play it? In QT go CMD+I & tell us the info. |

... I think that it may be an error caused by OS X here (if it says that it's an OS X problem, then that's probably what it is, right?). I figure though that it's too troublesome to reinstall OS X, huh? Well, next time you format, make sure you've put the film in a data-disk, so that you can try burning a DVD out of it then.
