I used 98se for a long time and switched to w2k... its like I left the hell and I am now in heaven.

btw if somebody will switch he should choose Linux, many of the software is free. For Macs you have to pay every sh*t, the same as Windows.

That is true. So we're told. And certainly for a major office setup you shouldn't take any chances. Particularly in regards to hackers. But I've never read about OSX systems being attacked or virus infections. The only mac viruses I'm aware of are related to OS9 & earlier. It was an off the cuff remark that generally mac users don't need to be so wary. And you're right about mac softw. We pay just as much for the top apps & there's less competition & choice. But how long could a totally unprotected windows user expect to last before a virus/other affects their machine if they utilise the net a lot.

I recently installed limewire on mandrake 9.1 and it works even faster than in XP. REally cool.

reading inbetween the lines (not just on limewire but all over the net) microsoft is like jordan every once hates the slapper but every one would jump into her bed, men and girls included

I am not talking about viruses, a firewall protect you against more things and a Mac isnīt immune against outside attacks doesnīt matter how many viruses there are or not...

If I would change my OS the only choice is LINUX.
