Need Help With Port Forward Routing

I have a Linksys Router and can use port forwarding to help with the connection. I need to know what i should put in for:

* APPLICATION NAME

* PORT START AND PORT END NUMBERS

* IS THE PROTOCOL DUP OR TCP OR BOTH

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE INFO ABOVE TO SET UP MY PORT FORWADING AND HOW DO I ALSO PUSH THE LOCAL NETWORK?

thanks,
Heath

application name "LimeWire"

port start/end both 6346 or whatever you set as your port in Tools->Options->Advanced->Port
(actually setting start to 6346 and end to 6348 may work a little better because there may be occasions were LimeWire switches to one of the next higher ports because 6346 is still in use).

LimeWire will need both TCP and UDP

Look for your Linksys model no. HERE (Click on link) Full instructions are provided. As trap_jaw4 said you need to apply those port no.'s. See below for Force IP instructions for LW. ie: for windows: Tools>Options>Advanced>Port & Firewall
For macosx: LW Prefs>Advanced>Port & Firewall
