I-Tunes Sharing

Greetings,

I am a LimeWire newbie. I have a few questions for the thread. First, I am wanting to share some I-Tunes with others. In my LimeWire sharing folder, I have several songs I have downloaded from LimeWire, along with a few I-Tunes I have purchased. When I check out the "shared folder" in my LimeWire library, only the LimeWire downloaded files appear. The I-Tunes are nowhere to be found, when in actuality they are in that sharing folder. I can easily find them on my harddrive. Why do they not show up in the LimeWire Pro library? Is it because the I-Tune files are protected?

I find the software fairly easy to use. My biggest problem seems to be finding songs that are not corrupted. Either Limewire points out problems, or my Music Match software rejects the song prior to burning a CD. Any thoughts on this? It seems a person needs to filter out several songs to find a decent one.

12/29/04 How long does it take to get a post response? It has been 3 days and counting. I noticed some people have had posts that have gone unanswered for months. Their questions were not earth-shattering either. At least those in charge of monitoring could reply with a "I don't know." Educator
