what program are you using to copy the music to the cd and what what format are the d/l ie. .mp3. m4a etc. also are you finalizing the cd after it has burned. some programs allow you this option. I have read here in the forum that Verbatim is a decnt brand. I use Maxell for my cds and Teon for my dvds, but I have read also different equipment works better with other types of media also

If you try burning the cd's at a slightly lower speed you might get more reliable results. Personally I always burn at minimum speed. I also choose reliable cd media.

I am using the Roxio program as I have used in the past. Worked fine before. The disks are a standard "Highmark" brand. Like i said the first three I filled will play but the last four will not.

hmmm not sure unless your cd burner went bad or the settings in Roxio were changed. Have you tried playing a cd in the cd burner to see if it will play them. Did you also try LotR suggestion burning at a lower speed.
