Do you have M$ Office? It sounds like something they might have but it's usually on the same disk. Else a graphics program.

It sounds like you may have clicked yes to the option during the original installation but stopped the installation process before this part was complete.

Greetings becca_,

What windows version are you using?

I'm going to need you to check a few things.

In start all programs do you see any new programs listed there? They are normally highlighted in yellow, until you use it.

Also in control panel, add or remove programs do you see any new programs there?

follow these steps 1) start 2) all programs 3) accessories 4) system tools 5) system information - this will pull up a screen at the bottom you will see a blank area where you can type something. Type in photo gallery and click find. It should come up with a location. post what it says back here please?

Also do you have any registery cleaning programs.

It sounds like something has been placed in the registry or startup configuration.

Please hang in there, while we try and figure out what has happened.

Another and maybe easier sollution would be to do a system restore prior to the point of installing the screensaver. If you are using windowsXP.

Default Screen saver files

Dear becca__

I am glad you have solved your problem but I would just like to add that you are very lucky because screen saver files are usually used to tempt people into downloading viruses onto their PCs.

Whenever hackers, criminals or whatever want to spread viruses screen savers are one of the type of files they use.

UK Bob
