How do I prepare files I want to share

I spend the vast majority of time downloading from everyone else. Id like to give back to the community. I want to rip down a dvd and share it. Where can I find instructions on doing that? For instance, I used a program to rip down a dvd into mpg . Now what? Do I need to zip it. Use winrar , win zip and then put it into my share folder. I just need some clearer direction. If anyone knows a link to a step by step procedure... that would be great. Thanks

zipping a movie won't make much if any difference to the file size. Generally the movies available for downld are around cd size (600-700 MB.) But any size is fine. If you'd like some links to some sites for dvd & video stuff, try: 1. http://www.videohelp.com/ & 2. http://forum.dvd-guides.com/ These links have tools available, articles & forum.

For sharing just put it into a folder & select that folder for sharing. Tools>Options>Sharing>Add & direct LW to where your folder is & select it. Then press the Apply button.
