large mpg files, short play time problem Some of the downloads I get to viedo clips are around 100Mb and will only show that they are only a minute long, but when I click on the middle of the clip time bar to forward the clip I see other parts of the clip that are not in the minute of continous play. My theory is that I may need a decoder of some sort in order to play back and register the time of the full file. If anyone has a clue as to what I am talking about please reply Thx |
Not sure but you might need some codecs or maybe an alternate player. Check out this link. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ghlight=codecs |
tried playing files with 3 different players same result all three times. I'll try the link you gave me though, thx |
Which player are you using for playback & which Operating System are you using? Try http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site) |
