![]() There's a no. of ways you can get the songs into iTunes library. * A 1st iTunes File>Add to Library... & select the songs to add. Hold SHIFT key for selecting multiple songs. * B Drag & drop the songs onto iTunes. This can be via your Saved Files or Shared folders or directly via LW's Library window. * C Create a Playlist within LW. Save it with a unique name & as an m3u file. Then import that playlist into iTunes. Then go to iTunes menu >Advanced>Consolidate Library. This will copy the actual files to iTunes own library folders. Also see these - iTunes Tutorial: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/...ial/index.html iPod Tutorial: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tutorial/index.html * A The most obvious way to add files to your iTunes Music Folder directly is via using the Control & O keys. Hold down the SHIFT key to select more than one file at once; the example shows how to add via the Add control & select multiple files at one time. ![]() iPod Forum (click on link) is a worthwhile place for both Windows, Mac & Linux users of iPod to check out. There's a forum, freeware available to help you, etc. Check it out! ucats it sounds like you need to manually add & remove songs from your iPod. 'Manually Manage Songs & Playlists.' Did you see the iPod Tutorial I think Lessons 4 & 6 might help you to understand how to overcome your issue. |

![]() If you're using Nero as your main player then see: Burning an audio CD from your MP3's which will explain how to get the files to Nero. As for any other type of portable mp3 player, read the manual. hahaha I don't know why you're posting here by the way. Why don't you get iTunes to do your playback. A playlist you must not forget is simply a reference to the songs, so if you move the original location of the songs then that playlist will become unusable. QCD (click on link) is another decent player with in-built codecs & plays ALL music types & is free! |

![]() Follow direction no. 1 & Add them to your library using the control & O keys & holding down the SHIFT key for multiple selections. This will add the music files directly! The LW list as refered is simply a reference to the files ok! It's a playlist to files that don't exist within LW's library. So follow direction 1 or follow the other suggestions. Hope this is of some help. Unfortunately, the process for adding songs to iTunes library for windows has some significant differences to those of mac. For mac the process is straight forward but for windows is a little more stubborn! So follow those directions on page one! ![]() |

![]() Use manual settings as below (open this settings window by pressing iPod button on bottom right side of iTunes whilst iPod is connected.) Press OK button. Then drag songs from Library or an entire playlist to the iPod icon. To delete individual songs from iPod, select & press delete key. |

![]() * B 1. You can select Saved Files folder in LW & press Expore button & the folder will open up for you. Then you can drag & drop songs from there to iTunes. Select multiple files at once by holding down the SHIFT key as you select them. Last edited by Lord of the Rings; May 10th, 2005 at 04:25 AM. |
