I read many hours on how to fix limewire this is what I firgured out for my pc

If you have your limewire info when you bought the product in your e-mail. I keep everything I bought in my e-mail so I can retrieve it.

Search folders & check hidden folders also

I deleted all of Norton from my pc -
I don't use it.

I deleted all of .limewire from my pc

I deleted all of Java from my pc

Control Panel turn off FireWall

Scan my pc with all my virus & adware programs

Restarted my pc

I reinstalled java.com & update

Read the instructions

Mozilla & Netscape & Internet Explorer
Apply
Reinstalled Lime Wire from my email.

I couldn't download or upload anything
it would stop or not do anything.
Of Course no one would email you to help you out.

Now I download a movie in about 2 hours not days.
