DvdDecrypter allows you to rip the contents of an original dvd to your computers harddrive and to be able to use to burn to a blank dvd+/-r.
DvdShrink allows you to take out or keep original contents of a movie or just to do the movie only without the extras!
I use both and love them! Best freeware progs i have used! Since DvdDecrypter has now been stopped of updating, newer movies with protection may have troble being ripped to hd. In that case, use Fabdvd Decrypter. Do a search over on afterdawn.com for safe downloads. Hope this doesn't break any rules, if so let me know and i'll change.

i beleve dvd decrypter can copy onley the movie without the extras.

and all dvds use the same copy protection ,dosent matter how new or old the disc is. if they changed the copy protection at all ,everyone would have to buy a new player and all the old discs/players would go the way of the 8 track.

That's a fake site.

DVD Shrink is a good program, but it's real site is here:

http://www.dvdshrink.org/

That site above is a fake rip-off (note the spelling error in it's URL).

All you would be downloading is a nice virus

dvd decryptor is not a virrus. they did shut down the home page for it and make them stop updating it because it worked so well . the final and last vershon they made is 3.5.4.0 . guss who shut it down.....the same wonderful companie that shut down supernova...

any way the final vershon is still out on other sites and can probobley be found on p2p.

iv never used dvd shrink so if it dose the same thing il try that.
