goto tools > options > searching > basic > and tick "show license warning" there is also a typo because it says "Clear Downloads" instead of "License Warning" [edit] this typo has been fixed in the latest released version. [/edit] you can also goto tools > options > view > popups > and click revert to default. |
yay thanx so much! haha i tried options and stuff but didnt see that i guess :-p thanx a bunch! yay off to downloading land i go! |

license and can't download I am having the same problem as Shanx. I tried to follow the directions, but when I select "Tools" on the menu bar, the only thing that pops up is "Statistics". I haven't been able to find "Options" anywhere. Please help. |
1 Attachment(s) Yep for Mac OSX the location is different. Go to menu bar, select Limewire & find drop down window & select preferences>View>Popups (or short cut to prefs is Command & comma.) |
Aaarrrggghhh! Just posted a thread about licensing and then, dumb me found this one. I have tried tools>options, etc and it still keeps giving me the same message. Do I need to uncheck the License warning box? Will I get in trouble if I do that or was that the default setting? |
That's a default setting. ;) For more info, see License requirement (click on link) and see post #4 as that is probably the one that is affecting you the most. :) |
